Tryon was settled for 100 years by residents coming from all parts of the country and is located less than 45 minutes from 3 major centers (Asheville NC, Greenville NC, and Spartanburg SC) and is 90 miles directly west of Charlotte NC.

COLUMBUS, NORTH CAROLINA
The Town of Columbus is a small town located in the Blue Ridge mountains of Western North Carolina, and is the county seat for Polk County, North Carolina. The recent Census results indicate a population of 999 persons, an increase of 0.71 percent from the 2000 Census.
Columbus was formed in 1855 as the County of Polk officially became a part of North Carolina. The Town itself was officially incorporated on February 2, 1857.

LANDRUM, SOUTH CAROLINA –
